What leaves your computer
Your library, logs and tokens stay on this computer. The author never receives them.
On your computer
Logs and your saved library stay on your device. Store tokens and saved logins are encrypted: DPAPI on Windows, Keychain on macOS, libsecret on Linux. There's no account and no telemetry.
When it goes online
Pilewise contacts a service only for the connections you turn on.
Steam
api.steampowered.com
Your owned games, plus your custom profile URL if you pasted one. You provide the Web API key. The key page on steamcommunity.com opens only if you ask.
Epic
www.epicgames.com, account-public-service-prod.ol.epicgames.com, launcher-public-service-prod06.ol.epicgames.com, catalog-public-service-prod06.ol.epicgames.com
You sign in in your browser and paste the code into the app. Pilewise then reads your library.
GOG
auth.gog.com, embed.gog.com
You sign in in a window inside the app. Pilewise then reads your owned games.
Xbox
login.live.com, user.auth.xboxlive.com, xsts.auth.xboxlive.com, titlehub.xboxlive.com, inventory.xboxlive.com
Sign-in, then your titles and inventory.
Notion
api.notion.com
Exporting, refreshing your completed ticks and checking for duplicates. www.notion.so opens only if you ask to see the database.
accounts.google.com, oauth2.googleapis.com, sheets.googleapis.com, www.googleapis.com
Signing in, reading and writing your spreadsheet, and Drive, to find or create a sheet by name. Pilewise asks only for Spreadsheets and Drive access.
GitHub
github.com
Checking for new Pilewise releases. Nothing about your library is sent.
Cover images
Pilewise writes the store's cover URL into an empty Notion cover, or into an empty Sheets cell as an IMAGE formula. It never downloads the image: Notion or Sheets loads it when it shows the cell.
